Apartment Review
The worst apartment complex ever... Here's why:

You don't get what you're paying for, that's for sure. When I first moved in six years ago--yes, it's been that long--I couldn't believe what a nice place this was. It had great security, the upkeep was spectacular, or so I thought. About a year in, everything went to hell and it got worse and still is getting worse.

Essentially, the security is gone. That's right... g o n e. To make matters worse, there's lots of partiers in the complex that see no reason not to party all night, regardless of sleeping--and I use that term loosely--neighbors. I've seen upstairs neighbors move out and move in, and alas, to my bad luck, they've all been the party type. And I mean nonstop BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-BOOM-bass-all-the-way-up type of partying. Anyway, since there's no security, ever, it's up to the cops to take care of it and you don't know if these people are the type to guess who "squealed" and take revenge, perhaps by slashing your tires, so you're coerced to let the music play.

Inside the apartment you should expect to find a lovely stream of ants in one place or another all year, no matter what you do, a rat or two (Yes, I've had rats... Live ones, dead ones... rats), a horribly inadequate "air conditioner" or swamp cooler that seems to cool down one fifths of the room it's in. Oh, and frequent unwarned water/water heater shutoffs should thrill you when you're trying to get ready for school or work.

At an average of $1,400 a month, does that sound worth it to you? Didn't think so. Avoid this terrible place. I'm planning on moving out, believe me.
