Apartment Review for Homestead Apartments - Fullerton, CA

Okay, You take a tour and the entire complex feels nice. Green grass, shady trees, pools and clubhouses, gates...It is 100% absolutely deceiving. The gates are rarely closed, if they are it's because they're broken. Yes, parking is difficult. 4 of my guests have been towed, even my roommates car was towed out of our designated carport..unfair. The management will take advantage of all the college students as much as they can. Racking up rent and rules. I've spoken to many people in the area, adults and students, and everybody could complain about leaks AND rats. True: the A/C unit is useless. You pay for excessive noise not cold air. Don't think about using your balcony for anything except standing because they threaten to fine or evict you if you have something like a patio chair, beach towel or bike out there. All of the property gets pointless work done to it, such as repainting every parking line each summer. Why? this only causes a shutdown on the already minimal spots. There are countless reason not to live here. Take the obvious advice and find another place. I KNOW, that it's close to CSUF, and looks nice compared to many nearby places, but it's not worth the future trouble to live here.
