Not so much...

The apartment grounds look nice and the model is beautiful, but the real Homestead life isn't as you would think. My walls shook and one of my mirrors actually fell down because of the level of my downstairs neighbor's music. After 17 calls to the police, he was finally evicted and replaced with a middle aged drug dealer who screams randomly through out the day and night and goes outside at 2:00am to hang Christmas lights on a weeknight about once a month. Sadly, I love this neighbor in comparison to the last. My roommate's car was towed 4 times from the complex despite the fact that he had a permit. Not only did we have to pay the $300 to get the car out, we DID NOT get a refund once we proved he was allowed to be there. The towing company suddenly "lost" any record of his car ever being impounded and insisted that we must be "confused" about who towed his car. I have been requesting that management replace my stove which only heats up to 250 degrees and all that has come of it is that my stove now has a new knob. Fantastic. The bathroom ceiling is black.... from mold. The last time I went to the pool there were ducks in it. I moved there so I could walk to school but since my roommate got robbed and beaten when he was making that trip, I have decided against it. In my opinion it is not worth the money. I think if you stick with units in "the creek" you might have better luck. |
