Apartment Review for Nutwood West - Fullerton, CA

It is nice to see a new website for rating. I posted a review in another website, too. I lived there for 3 years and the only reason I live there was because it is CLOSE to CSUF. I could walked to school everyday and walked back home to other students. I didn't see anything attractive until the new manager came. He remodeled the old apartments and put some effort on the landscape. He hired people to clean the stairway right after he started working there. He also repainted the parking lot. We were transfered to a upgraded unit because there was a major leaking in my unit. Not a lot of big issues here besides the pipes are old. It is an old apartment complex. There rent increases quite often. Be aware! I lived in a 2-1, the rent increased +/-$50 every 6 months. Make sure you get the upgraded unit otherwise don't move in. The problem with the apartment is there are a lot of kids running around and people smoking at your window if you are living at the ground level. You can smell people's dinner at the hallway. Your upstair neighbors like to stump on your ceiling day and night. There are parties sometimes. If you don't like the noise, call the number the manager gives to you. The patrol will go tell them to be quiet. The apartment is hot in summer. The A/C is in the living room. I have several friends living there complaining about the heat. My unit was ok. Parking is ok but the space is very tight. Even though you try to be careful, you still have a high chance to see your car get damaged without seeing a note on your windshield. It is pretty safe to live there because the place is so crowded and your neighbors put an eye on you,
