Apartment Review for The Lake - Fullerton, CA

The Lakes used to be better (appearance-wise) before the new owner took over. Now the Lakes are dirty and mucky and you can't even see the fish swimming around. This isn't a terrible place to live, but it's overpriced for what you get. There's continual construction going on, yet it seems that nothing ever gets done. I'm a young woman, so leaving my apartment in the morning, I feel continually disgusted at being oggled by every worker in the parking garage who seems to find nothing better to do than stare at me. Management is terrible, they've told my boyfriend "tough luck" on more than one occasion regarding multiple problems. Parking is TERRIBLE. I mean, it's BAAAAD. THere is NO guest parking, the few spots we used to have are now gone, and management doesn't care. Also, we had rats in our garage and my roommate's engine was chewed on by one, in fact.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it could be worse, but it's not great. There is a lot of noise, and a lot of theft. My car was broken into last week when it was in our garage.

OH, and did I mention my apartment is a cave? We get absolutely NO light, and it's actually depressing to me. So good luck, hope this helped
