Apartment Review for University Village - Fullerton, CA

Freshman year on my own away from parents and completely independent! Living at the UVs makes you want to move back to home. Lets list all the great things about the place. the cafertia has exceptional food, and on some days its not so great. Maintainence is very helpful, they get to fixing everything quickly without being rude at all. Only csuf or fjc students allowed to live here. They have attached garages and gated parking. Also nighttime security. Even a gated area for bikes too! Now for the bad. Units are just terrible. Really...they call a kitchen a kitchen with a 20 year stove and oven? Kitchen sink always gets clogged. Bathrooms are horrible with mold always growing. If you love rats this is the place to be, cause i seeen at least three of them crawling through in and out of my unit. Depending in which building you live in, some have units have their own ac and heating. Oh forgot to mention the excessive loud noises and drunk people walking around at night. Get used to that. hmm..office staff can be more than curtious, HOWEVER beware, they are very intimidating and judgemental, especially jeanie. she can be a pain in the ass as she suspected me of doing pot when i never touched that crap in my life. RA's go around and patrol however they are always the bad guys, breaking down parties. Night time security does an exceptional job, even being a total jerk wad is great when u live there. I have heard some security to pass time they go to some units to smoke marijuana in order to diminish their complete boredom. The list goes on and on for the worst, if you really want to live here just because it looks awesome as a party place, dont...simply because UV is getting strict on the noise and partying. UV's charges me 975 a month, including meal plan, parking permit, and a single regular bedroom that i have to myself.
